Training game
Jigsaw Quiz
A quiz where knowledge is the currency. The trainer cuts a picture into real jigsaw-shaped pieces and participants answer questions on their phones. A correct answer uncovers a piece, pieces that fit click together, and whoever completes the picture in the shortest time or with the fewest questions wins.
What is the Jigsaw Quiz game?
The trainer picks a picture from a file folder or has AI draw one, sets a grid from 2 × 2 to 8 × 8 and adds single-choice questions with four answers (typed in, imported from a quiz or another game, or drafted by AI). The picture can be the training content itself: a process diagram, a model, a map. Participants join by QR code, type a name and get their first question when the trainer presses Start.
A right answer drops a piece onto the bottom of the table. A wrong one shows the correct answer, holds the player for a few seconds and comes back three questions later, because the game is there to teach, not only to score. Everyone decides for themselves when to answer and when to assemble: pieces are dragged around a table of one's own, and those that fit join up and move as one group from then on. The trainer sees the ranking and everybody's tables the whole time, and after the game the questions the room found hardest.

Features
Key capabilities
A correct answer uncovers a piece
Without a right answer there is nothing to play with. A missed question shows the correct answer and comes back three questions later, so to finish the picture the whole set has to be known in the end. A short pause after a miss means guessing does not pay.
Pieces that click together
The picture is cut into real jigsaw shapes, from 4 to 64 pieces. Two pieces that fit, put down side by side, join and move as one group from then on. Pieces are never rotated, and they can be moved with a finger, with a tap or with the arrow keys.
Your picture, or one drawn by AI
Pick a photo or a diagram from a file folder, or describe what the picture should show and AI draws it with detail across the whole frame. You see the cut lines live, and the editor proposes a grid that suits the picture's proportions and warns when there are too many pieces for a phone.
Against the clock, or with the fewest questions
You choose what wins: the shortest time or the fewest answers given. Each participant's clock runs from their first question to their last join and is measured on the server, so a latecomer loses nothing. Add a start together or on joining, and an optional time limit.
The ranking and every table, live
The trainer's console shows the ranking with everyone's progress and a wall of every table in miniature. One click opens a chosen player's table and you watch the pieces being moved. The projector view shows the ranking or one table without the code and the buttons.
Questions from AI or from what you have
Give a topic or a document and AI writes the questions in your language. Already have a quiz, a quiz show or another set? Import its questions, one by one or all at once. The editor says in one sentence how many pieces a right answer uncovers and how many right answers complete the picture.
Step by step
How it works
Prepare a set
Pick a picture, set the grid and add questions with four answers: type them, import them or ask AI. Choose what wins and how the game starts, then try the set yourself.
Open a run
Start a session and show the QR code on the projector. Participants scan it, type a name and wait in the lobby until you press Start.
Watch the ranking and the tables
The ranking shows uncovered and joined pieces, correct answers and time, live. Click anyone to see their table.
Debrief the hard questions
After the game you get a podium, the results table and the questions the whole room missed most, each with its correct answer. Ready material for the debrief.
Use cases
What it’s good for
- Revision before a test at a calmer pace than a race against the clock.
- Making a process diagram, a model or a map stick: the picture is the content and assembling it is a second pass.
- A knowledge check after a training module with instant feedback for everyone.
- Onboarding: questions about the company, with the org chart, the office plan or the product as the picture.
- A stand at a fair or an open day: everyone starts on joining and plays on their own phone.
- A tournament to close the day: one ranking and a podium on the projector.
